Allan Solomon is a British artist working primarily in oil, creating contemporary figurative paintings distinguished by their bold colour, geometric form and emotional depth. Originally from South Africa and now based in Surrey, England, Solomon comes from a family with a rich artistic heritage, including his close relative Gladstone Solomon, whose work was exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Paris Salon. Today, Allan's distinctive visual language transforms the human figure into striking compositions that balance abstraction with recognisable form, inviting viewers to engage emotionally rather than simply observe.

His work has been exhibited by Castle Fine Art and Molasses House Gallery and has been commissioned by leading international brands for large-scale public installations across Europe and Australia. Alongside private commissions, his paintings are held in collections throughout the United States, South Africa, Australia, Europe and the Far East. Through each body of work, Solomon explores themes of identity, resilience and human connection, creating paintings that are both visually arresting and emotionally resonant.
